Village Kidz is an established preschool for young children aged 12-months to 6-years. Perched on the historic Foxhill in Salt Rock, we pride ourselves on offering a warm, welcoming and safe environment for young children to learn and grow.
We promote a love of learning, through play and sensory integration, which provides a solid foundation for future education. By focussing on the individual needs and unique abilities of each child, we encourage progression at their own pace, making school not only a place for them to learn and develop their individual potential, but also somewhere they feel content and happy and look forward to attending every day.

We have subtly divided our school into three age groupings, carefully spaced around our beautiful campus:
Village Babes caters for children aged 12-24 months in our beautiful open plan, sensory rich baby centre. Our Junior Age Group hosts toddlers who are 2 turning 3 years old as well as our Grade 000 classes. Our Seniors consists of Grade 00 and Grade R.
Each Age Group enjoys their own facilities and play areas with age appropriate apparatus to support learning and development. Similarly the classrooms and ablutions are located strategically so that learning, development, self-care and socialisation can be managed effectively.
We offer a multitude of wide open play spaces which are incorporated into our daily learning program. These areas include our school field, astro playground, mamba adventure park, padel courts and our backyard playground nestled under a canopy of trees. These areas are used by all age groups at various times of the day.
Located at Eden Village in Salt Rock, our facility is ideally positioned for small children living in Ballito, Salt Rock and Sheffield.
Our team of dedicated staff are passionate about early childhood development, learning and childcare.
Through the example set by the staff, children learn to approach challenges enthusiastically and positively which forms a cornerstone for problem solving and relationship building from an early age. Each class has a teacher and teaching assistant to ensure that we can give your child as much one-on-one attention as possible.
