Annalize Gould graduated with a B Speech Therapy and Audiology degree at the University of Stellenbosch in 1994.  She started her career as a Speech and Language Therapist at the Child Guidance Clinic in Welkom, Freestate where she worked for 3-years.​

This was followed by 10-years working in the United Kingdom, mostly in London.  Here she focused mainly on pupils in mainstream schools with specific language learning difficulties.  She also worked as the leader of a team of 13 therapists and assistants for the last 4 years of her time in the United Kingdom.  Upon her return to South Africa, she served as a clinical tutor at the University of UKZN, tutoring 2nd to 4th year students.  In 2009 she started her own private practice, Annalize Gould Speech and Language Therapy. The practice has grown since then and there are currently 3 full time therapists working in schools in the greater Ballito area.
