Oxy-Gen - Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy

Hyperbaric oxygen therapy is an effective method of increasing oxygen delivery to diseased and damaged tissue in an effort to enhance healing and recovery of function.

Oxy-Gen is a family-owned oxygen chamber acquired predominantly in response to the autism diagnosis of the Eaton children. As such there has been substantial focus on the use and benefits of this chamber, as it supports repair to brain injuries and other similar conditions.

Despite the chamber offering reparative benefits to the brain, there is a wide range of other benefits that include:

  • Autism

  • Cerebral palsy

  • Multiple sclerosis

  • Attention deficit disorder

  • Fibromyalgia

  • Chronic fatigue

  • Crohn’s disease/colitis

  • Burns

  • Crush injuries

  • Myocardial infarction

  • Infections

  • Surgical wounds

  • Bone fractures

  • Diabetic ulcers

  • Mitochondrial disorders

  • Ammonia toxicity

  • Acne

The chamber is operated by Paula Eaton and provides a stable and safe form of mild hyperbaric oxygen treatment (MHBOT). It is important to note that MHBOT supports other therapies and efforts in addressing particular conditions and therefore should not be viewed as a ‘cure’ to any condition on its own.

MHBOT raises the level of oxygen in the blood’s plasma. This increased oxygen in the plasma leads to higher amounts of oxygen being delivered to the body’s tissues, organs and brain. The brain – which is only two percent of our total weight, and uses more than twenty percent of the body’s available oxygen. Oxygen provides the bulk of the energy our body needs but also promotes the elimination of accumulated toxins in the body. Under mild pressure conditions, additional oxygen is dissolved into the blood plasma and enters the tissues directly. Hyperbaric oxygen therapy is often successful in bringing injured and dormant tissue back to health.

MHBOT requires considerable time investment to promote effective healing. Therefore a number of regular sessions (of approximately an hour each) would be recommended. Paula is willing to ensure the individual requiring the treatment, is comfortable with the process and offers initial free sessions to test the environment.
